The Victorian Excel Rally Series returns again in 2018 with a brand new naming rights sponsor for the series.
Grant Walker Parts has come on board, with the series to be known as the Grant Walker Parts Excel Rally Series for the 2018 Victorian Rally Championship season.
As a sub series of the Focus On Furniture Victorian Rally Championship, competitors in the GWP Excel series will contest the seven rounds of the VRC, with their best five rounds counting towards the championship

The Excel Rally Series has seen continued growth since its inception in 2006, and with the Excels being an extremely cost efficient rally car, it sees new competitors entering the sport, as well as luring some previously retired competitors back to competition.
The 2018 series will see up to 10 Victorian Excels compete, in events ranging from the Eureka Rally, a round of the Australian Rally Championship, in Ballarat in March, the NSW Rally Championship Rally of the Bay in August, and culminating at the final round of the VRC, the George Derrick in November.
Established in 1979, Grant Walker Parts started out as a Ford parts recycling specialist on popular models such as the Escort and Cortina, before quickly expanding into other models to meet demands.
Today, Grant Walker Parts is one of the largest auto recyclers in the country, specialising in Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen and Audi.
