Preliminary route details for Wales Rally GB, penultimate round of the 2017 World Rally Championship (27-29 October), show the final two stages on the Saturday will be held in darkness.
Wales Rally GB will include two night stages in 2017.This is the only major change for the route this year, in which the only missing stage will be Panperthog, and that two extra final day stages will be run.
It has been over three years since a World Rally Championship event has run six stages on the final morning of the rally.
The route on the Saturday has been changed so that the spectator stage (over the border in England) will be followed by a return back to Wales for the night time stages.
The last time there were night stages on Rally GB was in 2015 when the event was held three weeks later in the year.
