Six-time World Rally Champion, Sebastien Ogier, had a lucky escape on Monday when a helicopter he was riding in had to make an emergency landing.
Ogier was with Scott Martin (Elfyn Evans' co-driver) and Benjamin Veillas in Greece, where they were participating in a pre-Rally Turkey test in a Toyota Yaris WRC.
On the outskirts of the Glyfada golf course, the helicopter suffered a technical breakdown a few seconds after takeoff.
The pilot landed the helicopter safely and without incident, but it could easily have been much worse.
As these photo shows, the incident attracted plenty of police attention.
Ogier and his colleagues were able to continue their trip by car, and tested the Yaris in dry and dusty conditions on Tuesday.
