The first list of drivers eligible for the new style European Rally Trophy shoot-out to be held on the Waldviertel Rally (17-19 November) at St Polten in Austria has been released.  

Keith Cronin on the Celtic Rally Trophy qualifying round, the Ulster Rally 2016.These are the twelve drivers who earned their place on the series final from results on the Celtic Rally Trophy.  

In each of the five regions in the series, three drivers are being invited from each of four different categories (overall, Group N, two-wheel drive and Juniors).  

Top scoring driver in the Celtic series (basically, events based in the British Isles) was Irish Citroen DS3 R5 driver Keith Cronin, who finished ahead of Fiesta R5 drivers Sam Moffett and Alastair Fisher.  

The other four regions are the Balkan, the Baltic, the Central and the Iberian regions.
