Photos from the first day of the 2009 Yokohama Alpine Rally are now online. The first two stages of the event were a prologue to determine the starting order for the second and third days.
Two short stages totalling 11km were held just outside Lakes Entrance, in fine and sunny weather, with plenty of dust to keep competitors honest.
Results from the first day's stages - kept secret from competitors until 9pm - will be available soon.
