Rallye Monte Carlo’s simplicity was overcome by Rally Sweden’s confusion last weekend, confirming the fact that the World Rally Championship now has yet another problem to overcome – its points system.
The new ‘Super Sunday’ that awards almost half of the rally’s points on that final leg of action alone has set social media alight, and the negativity that has surrounded that fact is justified.
