Popular Irishman to headline Rally SA entry list

The next round of the Australian Rally Championship is only 50 days away, and Lightforce Rally SA will again set the scene for a close battle.

Equipped with the Ford Escort he drove in April’s Otago Rally, Kelly will be great to watch and will ensure excitement for spectators.

Organisers are also liaising with some New Zealand competitors, to further increase the profile of the event.

All activities will be centred in Mt Crawford, including a brand-new ceremonial start.

The rally route itself will contain a 50-50 mix of council and forestry roads.

The Intro Rally and Clubman section will run on Saturday and Sunday respectively, with the national crews set to tackle both days.

Popular ‘open’ recce arrangements will continue, with competitors able to complete the recce in the two weeks prior to the event.

Entries are now open for the event, which runs from September 15-17.
