One of Victoria's most popular, and longest running annual events has been cancelled due to the impacts of COVID-19.
The organising team of Nissan Nightmoves made the difficult decision to cancel the event, schedule for June this year.
"This was a tough call to make – we had big plans for this year’s rally. COVID-19 has affected us all, and with the current restrictions on travelling, gatherings and safety we feel that it would not be responsible for us to proceed," organisers said.
"Putting our officials, competitors and the local Heathcote community at any risk is a burden we cannot bear."
There is some chance that the event may run in another format later in the year.
