A Power Stage will be held in November's National Capital Rally, the single event counting for the 2020 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Cup. Following the cancellation of this year's national series due to COVID-19, Motorsport Australia have released the sporting and technical regulations, including details of a new ‘power stage’. Full details of the ‘power stage’ format have not yet been announced, but Motorsport Australia say it will offer competitors with another exciting opportunity in 2020. A separate RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Cup for 2WD competitors will also be awarded on top of the outright Cup at the Netier National Capital Rally. Meanwhile, the Hoosier Challenge, which will be held at a number of state based rally events in 2020 will also offer a special deal on those choosing to be eligible for the Hoosier Challenge. Competitors must compete on Hoosier tyres, with those doing so able to take advantage of a ‘buy three, get one free’ tyre offering. Those taking advantage of this deal must use the tyres in the event they are ordered for.
