Belgian Stephane Prevot will co-drive for Chris Atkinson during a five day test in Sardinia starting this weekend, after Frenchman Denis Giraudet turned down an offer from Subaru.

The 38 year old Prevot, who co-drove for Stephane Sarrazin during his 2006 World Rally Championship campaign, is extremely experienced with 111 world rally starts to his name.  He has previously partnered Francois Duval and Bruno Thiry, and has been on the podium twelve times.  However no decision will be made on Prevot's long term future in the car until after the Sardinia test.

Denis Giraudet., who co-drove for Didier Auriol for a number of years, confirmed that Subaru asked him to fill the co-driver's seat as soon as Glenn Macneall announced he was stepping aside, but he was unable to accept the position because of his existing commitments for the 2007 season.
