The C3 is the sixth car to be homologated as an R5, after the Fiesta, Peugeot’s 208T16, Citroen DS3, Skoda Fabia and Hyundai’s NG i20. The privately built Mitsubishi Mirage was never homologated by the FIA. Mellor’s company has been entrusted by Proton with development of the Iriz at their facility in England.
