Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen today confirmed he will head to Australia to battle it out against the world’s best rally drivers - including Sebastien Loeb, Sebastien Ogier, Ken Block and Petter Soleberg - at the Ultimate Dust Up Down Under, the 10th leg of the World Rally Championship (WRC) - on the NSW Coffs Coast (September 8-11).

Silencing whispers that he would not compete in Australia, today’s announcement from the Finnish heavy hitter, notoriously known as “Iceman,” will see him put his Citroën to the test on the Coffs Coast rally route.

Raikkonen has not raced in Australia since the Australian F1 Grand Prix in 2009 – before he moved to WRC – and is looking forward to competing in the 10th leg of the WRC, with his eye on the top honour of taking out the title.
