Grandstand tickets to all three nights at Gloucester Park are being snapped up by fans eager to catch a glimpse of the world’s best rally cars zooming around the famous sweeping turns and the Qantas fly jump one last time.
Corporate hospitality packages for the country stages of Dwellingup, Mundaring and Wespine are also selling fast, with only a limited number of packages still available.
Telstra Rally Australia General Manager, Simone Woodard, says Western Australians need to be quick if they wish to secure tickets to farewell one of the state’s long-standing international events.
“Come down to Gloucester Park for all the excitement of the Super Special Stage, and celebrate the brilliant event that is Telstra Rally Australia,” she said.
This year rally fans can get even closer to the action thanks to the relocation of the start line to right in front of the main spectator area.
Nightly fashion parades, bands, exhibitions, aerobatic displays and dazzling firework displays will add to the world class rallying featured each night at the Super Special Stage.
Telstra Rally Australia 2006 will officially kick off with a spectacular opening ceremony at Gloucester Park on Thursday 26 October. More than 350 performers including didgeridoo players, Australia’s best known drumming groups, dancers, skydivers, and the RAAF Hawk Jets are set to transform Gloucester Park into a sea of colour and excitement.
