Rally Poland (Rajd Polski) returns to the FIA’s European Rally Championship in 2018 following the decision to replace Poland’s position in the World Rally Championship with Rally Turkey.
It is claimed it will be the 50th time the event has qualified as a round of the ERC, having first been part of the ERC in 1960 when it was the sport’s premier series.
The 2018 event will be the 75th edition of Rajd Polski, believed to be the sport’s second longest running rally behind only Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo.
The event will be based once more at Mikolajki in north Poland’s Mazurian Lakes district, and run on gravel stages.
In 2017, Poland’s round of the European Championship was an asphalt stage rally, based at Rzeszow in the south east of the country.
