The 2016 CAMS Onslow Contracting Western Australian Rally Championship has once again been a display of sideways action, man versus machine, friendly rivalry and importantly, earnest camaraderie that so many in the rally fraternity value.
As the dust settles on 2016, Rally WA Chairman, Ross Tapper, said 2017 is set to be another cracking year.
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and I’m delighted to announce Natrad as a new sponsor of the 2017 CAMS Onslow Western Australian Rally Championship,” Mr Tapper said.
Natrad National Franchise Manager Roy Lapedota said he was looking forward to supporting the WA State Championship.
"Natrad specialises in radiators and car cooling and heating - important components for every competitive rally car. It's a natural fit to partner with the WA Rally Championship, particularly as one of our WA franchisees Mick Steele has been involved as a competitor for a number of years. The rally community is friendly, passionate and supportive, just like Natrad's. We're excited to be involved and are really looking forward to the 2017 rally season."
The 2016 season will wrap up with a Presentation Dinner on 25 February at the Royal Perth Yacht Club.
The 2017 CAMS Onslow Contracting Western Australian Rally Championship starts with Trade Hire Karri Rally in Manjimup on 25 March.
Mr Tapper said he would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone involved in rallying in Western Australia and beyond a safe and happy Christmas.
