Returning WRC star, Hayden Paddon, has embraced his first rallycross opportunity in the Titans Rallycross series.
In his first European event for the season, Paddon earmarked the experience as an eye opener.
'While it was fun, it was also a little frustrating at times," the Kiwi said.
"When we were on our own, we were one of the fastest, but during the races the nature of the track and the blocking from everyone meant it was near on impossible to pass."
"I spent most of the weekend stuck behind cars," he added.
Paddon finished fourth on day one, and got disqualified from the semi final after being deemed to give too much contact to other cars.
Despite this, the 32 year old was happy.
"(It was) still a lot of fun and plenty of positives out of the weekend," he added.
He enjoyed the fastest lap time of the weekend, and achieved two qualifying race wins and also the fastest qualifying race time of the weekend.
