The Tasmanian designed RallySafe tracking system will be on show at Wales Rally GB late in October.
Recently contracted to provide safety and tracking services for the WRC from 2018 to 2020, RallySafe will run their devices in some vehicles in Wales as the FIA further tests the units.
“Our team are currently developing a Version 3 of the RallySafe unit, and we will also have start and finish beams in Wales that we have recently developed,” RallySafe general manager, Mike Widdowson, told RallySport Magazine.
“These are exciting times for us,” he added.
“We worked hard to get the WRC contract, and we’re keen to make the most of the opportunity that has been presented to us.”
A number of RallySafe features appealed to the FIA before the sport’s governing body chose them for use in future WRC events.
