Following their recent success in the 2012/2013 Australian Targa Championship, the team at Redback Racing are once again poised and ready to take on the roads of South Australia, Tasmaniaand Victoria for 2013/2014.

The team will be competing in a Renault Megane RS250 and a new RS265 with the combination of Bunjamin Noor with Lee Challoner Miles and Adam Spence and Erin Kelly again teaming up.

Mid-August is the first round of the 2013/2014 Australian Targa Championship, taking in the breathtaking closed public roads of Adelaide and its surrounds. This season is the first time the team will compete in all four rounds of the Championship and with the event being kick started by a new “under lights” stage, it will be a new experience for all involved.

After 3 consecutive podium finishes in the final 3 rounds of last season’s championship, the team will again look to build on this success hopefully placing both teams on the podium at this opening round.

Adam Spence team principle said “Both cars have undergone some changes since the end of last season, some minor and some major (with a completely new car for myself and Erin) to see us be ready for the coming rounds. We are all anxious and excited to test these out in Adelaide and we believe we have the right combination and attitudes to take out this year’s championship, but there are many variables and challenges in front of us….. We can’t wait!”

“Les Smith, CEO of RDA/EBC Brakes Australia said “Redback Racing present one of the most well presented and polished race teams RDA-EBC Brakes have ever been involved with in over 20 years of Motorsport support. I know the hard work and time investment by drivers, crew and family partners that it takes to run a two car team and it is a credit to all involved. From a sponsors viewpoint they deliver great value and are always looking to value add to the relationship and I look forward to another great season ahead in tarmac rallying.”
