With his first rally of the year just over three weeks away, 21 year old rally driver Brendan Reeves has revealed the first photos of his newly painted Subaru STI. The left hand drive 2006 model Subaru has been given a facelift and Reeves is rapt with the new colour scheme.
“I’m really happy with the way it’s turned out,” he said. “We played around with a few ideas and I think the design we decided on looks awesome. Thanks to Bendigo Tyre Centre and Australian Race and Rally Services for a great job!”
This Friday (February 5), Reeves and his team will spend the day testing ahead of their first event of the year, Rally Tasmania. The tarmac test day will give the young rally star a chance to get some more tarmac kilometres under his belt and make some minor adjustments to the car ahead of the Burnie-based event.
“Our last tarmac event was Targa Tasmania back in April last year, so it will be great to get a bit of testing in before we head down to Tassie again,” he said.
