Popular driver, Brendan Reeves, will compete at the Western Victorian Crane Trucks Valley Stages when Victorian rallying returns in October. Reeves has competed at the event for the past two years in different cars but will switch to his own Datsun 1600 this year. His new Datsun 1600, nicknamed 'Datzilla', will come out of the shed for the October 25 event. Its second event was scheduled to be the Mitta Mountain Rally before COVID-19 restrictions took hold. In 2018, he drove a Holden Commodore, while last year he won two-wheel drive in a Ford Escort. Kate Catford will sit alongside Reeves for the event. Strict virus restrictions are still in place in Victoria at present, and the event is reliant on those easing.
