The replacement event is proposed to take place on the same date as the cancelled Lewana Stages, Saturday, May 3.
At this stage, there are some hurdles to overcome, however, with a team of hard working people behind them, the organising committee believe that an event is possible, even given the very tight time frame.
The following draft details are a guide only, and will be confirmed or otherwise in the next few weeks:
Event: Blackwood Rally
Area: Lewana Plantation, Balingup.
Status: Round 2, WARC and Clubman
Competitive distance: Approx. 90km for WARC and 60km for Clubman.
Format: Road-booked event, 2 stages daylight, 1 stage night.
Approx start time of car 1: 1:00 PM
Servicing: 2 services for WARC, 1 service for clubman.
