Queenslander Stewart Reid finished 36th outright and sixth in class in last weekend’s Nicky Grist Stages in the UK.
Driving a borrowed Ford Escort in the H3 (historic) class, Reid had the current European Ladies Rally Champion, Molly Taylor, in the co-driver’s seat.
While Molly is somewhat unfamiliar calling pace notes, she adapted well and the pair performed admirably.
Of the 147 starters of the rally, 107 managed to make it to the finish.
As can be seen in the photo, Reid was his usual exuberant self behind the wheel.
