The Buckby Subaru Challenge will return again in 2018, after a successful opening season in Tasmania last year.
The one-make series using Subaru Impreza RS cars was hailed a great success in last year's Tasmanian Rally Championship.
It was held over the four rounds of the championship, with 12 Subaru Impreza RS contesting the series.
The inaugural winner was Nic Grave, in a closely fought battle with Ben Newman. Proving consistency is the key, Buckby Subaru Dealer Principal, Crichton Lewis, rounded out the top three.

For 2018, the series has grown, with several new cars being built in the off season and generating plenty of interest in Tasmanian rallying.
The Buckby Subaru Challenge is fore 2001-2005 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5i cars. It is a perfect entry level vehicle for those considering gravel rallying.
The rules enable safe, cost-effective rallying on an even platform. A ready-to-rally car can be purchased for under $20,000, with parts easily accessible and affordable.
