On the fielding of two Å koda Fabia S2000 by the Wolfsburg-based factory team Christian Riedemann/Michael Wenzel crossed the finish ramp in Salou as eighth in class and 20th overall.
While developing the Polo R WRC, Volkswagen has been participating in WRC rounds with cars of the Volkswagen Group’s Škoda brand this season in preparation for the WRC commitment.
