This weekend, Molly Taylor will contest the Trackrod Yorkshire Rally, round six of the British Rally Championship. After three tarmac events, Taylor is keen to again compete on gravel, and having competed on the Trackrod for the last two years, she is looking forward to testing out the C2R2 on roads she really enjoys.

With a new location for Rally HQ at Scarborough, the rally gets underway on Friday evening with a new night stage. Competitors will then face a further eight stages on Saturday totalling almost 90 miles. Rally Yorkshire is the only event allowed to utilise the famous, fast flowing stages in the Dalby complex and, as all other stages are nearby, crews are promised a full and demanding days rallying on Saturday.

Phil Clarke will return to the co-driver's seat this weekend.

"I’m really looking forward to a gravel event," Taylor said. "We had good pace on the last gravel event, The Pirelli International, so I’m aiming to find that pace again. I haven’t managed to have any time in the car since Ulster, but we will attend the shakedown test on Thursday and I’m planning to make the most of it."

"I really enjoy the roads in Yorkshire, so I’m aiming to find a good rhythm that we can maintain over the weekend," she added.
