The 2011 International Rally of Queensland (IROQ), has attracted a record number of entries and amongst those competing this weekend will be experienced rally campaigner Nigel Shellshear. He and co-driver, Paul Fletcher, will compete in their Mitsubishi Evolution Lancer with the backing of iNova Pharmaceuticals’ Difflam™ Sore Throat product range.

Driver Nigel Shellshear said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to compete in the majority of the 2011 Australian Rally Championship (ARC) rounds while promoting our major sponsor, Difflam at every opportunity. The media exposure being offered to competing teams in 2011 has attracted great sponsorship and has clearly been the difference in us being able to compete this year.”

2010 saw Shellshear take a break from gravel rallying after achieving an equal first place in the 2009 NSW State Rally Championship. Now Nigel and Paul have joined forces again to form Team Difflam and will contest the remaining four 2011 ARC rounds (including the September World Rally Championship round in Coffs Harbour).

Major sponsor, Difflam, markets products including lozenges, throat sprays and gargles which help treat a wide range of painful throat and mouth conditions and are available only from Pharmacies.

Nigel Shellshear is also being backed in 2011 by S.Wilkins Motorsport, Race Fuels Pty Ltd and Premier Panel Beating.
