The Back Room: 3. John Armitage

Thus you might know their names and their faces, but what their background is and their journey through rallying may come as a bit of a surprise.

We will be profiling people from different backgrounds and with different specialities, but all with a common goal – for the love of rallying.

This episode of the Back Room is very special to many of us oldies, as well as the not so oldies.

This week we remember a very enigmatic and humane person who fell in love with rallying and gave it his all – or should that be he gave us all of him?  This profile concentrates on his involvement with Geoff Portman.  Very sadly, John has not been with us since 1994.
