The Toyota rally team will feature in a forthcoming episode of Channel Seven’s ‘The Great Outdoors’ program, after filming for the show took place at the Great Lakes Rally.
A production team, including presenter Shelley Craft (pictured), followed the event, attending spectator points, interviewing spectators, and members of the Toyota team.
However the highlight was when Craft sat beside Neal Bates at the media day and had two runs around the short stage with the three-time Australian Rally Champion.
A beaming Craft got out of the car full of enthusiasm, and while she admitted that she screamed for the whole 2.7 kilometres of the stages, she loved every second of it.
The episode isn’t expected to be shown on Channel Seven until next year.
