The Fiat Rally of Turkey will be held from May 11 to 13. The world championship event is not a part of the WRC this year, but is running as the second round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge and the second round of the European series.

This time the event is being run out of the Istanbul area (rather than Kemer) and - unusually for the Euro series - is being run on gravel stages.

The event will see the IRC debut of the Peugeot Spain team of 207 S2000s, the first full entry for the JAS Honda Type R R3 cars, and the return of the 2004 FIA European champion Simon Jean-Joseph to international championship rallying. He is now driving an official Citroen C2 1600.
