“We would really like to be the first Aussies home,” Reeves said.“It’s also great to have Rhi back in the car with me. She is nice and light, which helps, and we work well together, which we hope will prove to be an advantage.” When asked about the battle between fellow AP4 drivers, Harry Bates and Eli Evans, Reeves said that the tyre difference may be the biggest factor, rather than the cars. Reeves runs Pirellis, Evans will use MRFs, and Bates will use Michelins.
“The tyre difference will be a big factor this weekend. We don’t have many soft tyre options, so we will be using mainly hards.“The good thing is that the car works well on both, better than what my PRC car used to,” he added. Rally Australia starts tomorrow with six gravel stages, before the Super Special Stage in Coffs Harbour tomorrow evening. https://www.instagram.com/p/BbjK_VnlgPr/?taken-by=rallysportmag
