Former Rally Victoria clerk of course, Alan Mackay, has passed away after a long illness.
He was CoC of the event when it ran as a round of the Australian Rally Championship in the 2000s.
On a post on their Facebook page, the Cerberus Car Club said:
"Words can't describe the sorrow many of us are feeling at the moment. Sadly we lost a life member, mentor and great friend to many within the club and rally community.
"Alan passed away yesterday succumbing to an illness that has dogged him for most of his life.
"Our hearts go out to Fiona and Duncan. RIP my good friend RIP."
