VIDEO: Ken Block Gymkhana Grid testing

With Ken Block's Gymkhana THREE Part 1 video due for release today, here's a clip of the first Gymkhana Grid event from a couple of weeks ago.

GT Channel interviewed Ken Block at the Gymkhana Grid media day and also caught up with professional drift driver Daijiro Yoshihara after his ride along with Ken in his Monster Energy Drink Ford Fiesta. Special thanks to Steven Reyes for video footage and Mike Eldred for the soundtrack.

"Gymkhana Grid takes the driving style you have seen in Ken Block’s Gymkhana films and puts it into a timed, heads-up format, including both amateur and well-known professional drivers on a course co-designed by Block himself. High power engines, massive slides, and copious amounts of smoke aren’t just encouraged, they’re enforced. For 2010, there are two races on the schedule, the first is Gymkhana Grid in August, followed by the Ken Block Invitational in December, which will include some of racing's bigger names going head-to-head for the gymkhana crown."
