The 2016 VolksMuller Sydney Dragway Gravel Rallysprint was held on May 22 and was a fast and exciting motorsport event held in the heart of Sydney.
With a variety of rally cars competing for the podium, the event was eventually won by Chris Giddins in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6. 2nd place and only one tenth of a second behind on overal times was Charlie Drake in his much newer Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10. JJ Hatton was in third place.
