History shows that competitors in next week’s Coffs Coast Rally will be bracing for whatever the weather gods throw at them.

A regular on the Australian and World Rally Championship calendars over a long period of time, the roads around the banana capital of Australia are some of the trickiest you’ll find.

When it’s fine and sunny the surface is hard, dry and extremely dusty. If it rains though, strap yourself in for slipping and sliding your way along clay-based skating rinks.
