Wastegate Chatter … 13: The rules are rules, so ‘stick’ to them!

There’s a well-founded belief that everything in rallying is getting more regulated and harder to achieve. As we learned in 1996, the placement of stickers wasn’t a ‘free for all’.

Back in 1996 I was campaigning a Group N Mazda 323 GTX in the Victorian Rally Championship and had achieved some moderate success.

The car was well prepared, well presented and built totally to the regulations at the time – at least we thought it was.
