The Secure Glass Rally Team of Roman Watkins and co-driver Toni Feaver will compete in the first round of the WA State Rally Championship this weekend as part of their preparation for the Quit Forest Rally, the second round of the national rally series. Round 1 of the WARC will be located in Donnelly River, a four hour drive south of Perth.

Watkins will pilot his new Subaru WRX, previously run by Possum Bourne Motor Sport and driven to two Asia Pacific Titles by Cody Crocker for the Motor Image Rally Team.

Driver Roman Watkins commented, "I have not competed since 2008 so I'm looking forward to getting amongst it once again.  The last rally I competed in Toni and I won, so I'm hoping for the same success this year."

Watkins added that this weekend's rally provided a perfect opportunity to test the Kuhmo gravel tyre which are this year’s control tyre for the national series.

Team Manager, Gary Matthews said, "We are approaching this event as a testing session. A PBMS technician is flying in from NZ for the rally so it's going to be great to tap into their experience."

The team has set up a Facebook page (Secure Glass Rally Team) which will be updated with in-car video footage, photos and team updates during the season.
