Williams the man to beat in ARC 2WD Cup

Despite a first stage retirement in Canberra in April, Queensland’s Ryan Williams goes into this weekend’s Rally Launceston as favourite in the ARC’s 2WD Cup.

The 24-year old’s Ford Fiesta R2 suffered belt tensioner failure mid-way through the first stage in Canberra and took no further part in the rally.

After missing the second championship round in Western Australia, the talented Williams and co-driver, Brad Jones, are champing at the bit to get Rally Launceston started and to get his ARC campaign back on track.
