Heading into the final forestry stages with a narrow 16 second lead, Boaden won the next four stages, established a commanding lead, demonstrating the superiority of the new tyre.
“Silverstone are on to a real winner with this new S525i tyre,” Boaden said at the finish.
The S525i’s all new Aramid Fibre (kevlar) reinforced construction and redesigned tread pattern give it outstanding drive, braking and sideways grip. The tread design allows drivers to maintain full pace throughout even the longest of stages.
Other regular Silverstone competitors to benefit from the new S525i were Queensland’s Glenn Brinkman and NSW driver Steven Slade.
