Your chance to have a say

If you’ve always wished you had the chance to tell CAMS what you think of them, now is your big chance. Our governing body recently released an invitation for CAMS members to comment on their performance in a number of areas, and to make submissions to improve CAMS’ performance for the good of the sport.

Now, before you think that your contributions will only end up in CAMS’ waste paper basket, to be ignored like many previous reviews, this review is being conducted independently by the law firm of Ernst & Young. A steering committee consisting of the CAMS president, two vice presidents and the CEO will oversee the review in conjunction with Ernst and Young as independent consultants.

As part of the consultation process, written submissions are currently being sought from individuals, groups of individuals, clubs and interested parties, to put forward their views on the governance, organizational and consultative structure of CAMS. But you don’t have a lot of time – submissions close on Friday 19 October.
