The 63 entries accepted for Rally Chile (10-12 May) is the greatest number for a long-haul WRC rally for 11 years, since Rally Japan 2008.
There are 11 World Rally Car entries, four in WRC2 Pro (Greensmith for M-Sport, Rovanpera and Bulacia for Skoda and Ostberg for Citroen), 19 in WRC2 Amateur from six different manufacturers and one national category entry.
There is poor support from other South American countries (one each from Brazil and Peru and two from Argentina).
