It is a great shame that Ed Ordynski has been almost forced out, you may think, to end his chairmanship of ARCom.
I have known Ed as long as he has been involved in rallying and he has always had the total picture of this sector of motor sport in focus. Perhaps there are some people involved with CAMS who should take a long and hard look at their own attitude to rallying.
It is sad that we are now forced to live in an over-regulated world where everyone feels the compulsory requirement to acquiese to the dictates of faceless and unhappy beaurecrats and political figures who have no idea or any interest in this magnificent sport.
We all know that we cannot turn back the clock, but it is about time that a stand is made to reign in the dictates of people who would rather do nothing than upset another.
