Molly Taylor has her sights set on an Australian Rally Championship return despite Subaru Australia withdrawing from the championship at the conclusion of 2019.
The 2016 champion, who is still a Subaru brand ambassador, is working on securing the finances to make her ARC return, although that won't be for the opening round in Canberra this month.
"I'm working hard behind the scenes, but it's not easy to raise the appropriate funding to do things properly," Taylor told RallySport Magazine.
"Canberra is definitely not a possibility though."
Should she return, it will be in a Subaru, and most likely the car that she drove last year, and that is owned by Orange Motorsport's Craig Brooks.
The car was most recently used by Jason White to win a hillclimb championship in Tasmania, although in vastly different specification to what ran in last year's ARC.
