French driver, Bryan Bouffier, returns to Rajd Rzeszow in Poland for the new ERC Rally on August 5-7.  He will drive a Citroen DS3 R5.

He was national Polish Rally Champion in 2007-2009, and won this event four times, last year at the wheel of a special Ford Fiesta Proto.

Rzeszow is in the south east of the country, faraway from the venue for the recent Polish WRC event.  Based in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, it is an event on asphalt.

Missing from the Rzeszow entry list is Russian driver Alexey Lukyanuk, the only serious challenger this year to the ERC champion, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, until his late retirement from Rally Estonia.  He faces an uncertain future in the sport on account of financial problems.

Latvia driver, Ralf Sirmacis, is now Kajetanowicz's biggest threat.
