Australia's leading motorsport safety provider has been forced to close their operations until further notice.
CEO and Director of Motorsport Safety & Rescue, Les Walkden, has been forced to make significant changes to the business, including cutting back on the company's staff numbers.
"As you may be aware, numerous events across Australia are being cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. MSR Motorsport support the decision of organisers to postpone or cancel these events," Walkden said in a statement to staff.
"Therefore, MSR Motorsport will close until further notice.
"Your welfare and the welfare of all our employees is of the utmost importance, not to mention the financial impact to the company.
"You – our First Responders – are dealing with this up front, and we thank you for your dedication and efforts at such a demanding time.
"You’re great mates and colleagues, and I ask that you take care and look after your health and each other.
"We look forward to returning better than ever!" Walkden said.
