The former Subaru and Toyota pilot won this year’s ARC driving two different cars. He started the year in a Neal Bates-prepared Super 2000 Corolla, before switching to a Race Torque Lancer Evo IX.
Evans is still in discussions with potential sponsors, but an announcement on his 2010 plans is expected to be made before Christmas.
It is likely that the Evo X will be prepared by the Western Australian-based Race Torque operation.
