ARCom chairman, Ed Ordynski, said today that ARCom and CAMS administration had worked hard to ensure that the minutes had been released within seven days of the meeting, and that all nine recommendations in the minutes had been dealt with in less than a fortnight.
“Previously it could have taken between six and 12 months for some of those issues to be finalized or changed,” Ordynski said.
The minutes appear in a different style this year, without the customary long-winded explanations, which is necessary to ensure that the minutes have been released so quickly.
“If anybody really needs more information on any of the items raised in the minutes, they should request that information via the Rally Manager who may direct the enquiry to the appropriate ARCom portfolio holder,” Ordynski added.
The quick release of the minutes is seen as a major breakthrough in the communication process between ARCom and the rallyists around the country.
