NEW RELEASE: Roger The Rally Car

You’d have to admit that there aren’t too many kids’ story books on the subject of rallying, but the latest one, “Roger the Rally Car”, is one which kids (and their parents!) will love.

RallySport Promotions have just received stock of what is a really beaut little book that we sourced from New Zealand and which is well worth a look.

Roger the Rally Car tells the story in words and beautifully-drawn pictures of an old rally car (actually a Mk.2 Escort) which was the pride of the rally team until it crashed and rolled down an embankment and was almost totally destroyed.

Roger was then stored away in a shed and forgotten about. He languished in the shed for a very long time until somebody decided that he was too good to leave rotting in the shed, and bought him with the aim of restoring Roger to his former glory.

The story of Roger’s exploits is a story that kids will love and will want to read over and over again (and not only at bedtime!). Written and illustrated by Dick Oliver, the book is A4 size and in full color. It would make a great birthday or Christmas gift or just given as a special treat.
