Former Australian Rally Champion, Scott Pedder is eyeing off an ARC return in 2020 in his championship winning car. Pedder has not had much competition time since his WRC2 campaign in 2016.

"We’ll probably head out (and compete) at least once this year," Pedder told the ARC Service Park.

"I was thinking about Canberra but I don’t think that’s going to happen now just with work commitments."

The Adelaide Hills Rally in October is now Pedder's priority, which brings back many memories for the 2014 champion.

"It will be 15 years since my first ARC win in Adelaide and obviously ten years since my accident, so its a fitting event," Pedder added.

"The Adelaide Hills is a pretty special place to go rallying, so we might get the little Clio out and see if we can still drive.

"I’m not sure that’s possible, but we’ll see how we go," he laughed.

Pedder ran as course car at last year's Eureka Rally in the car, but he says that the car has had some work done to it since.

"The little Clio’s had a little bit of a birthday actually.

"It didn’t run too well at Ballarat last year but its had some money spent on it."

The Adelaide Hills Rally will run on the 17th and 18th of October. Pedder's appearance is likely to breathe life into the two-wheel drive component of the ARC, a category that has been lacking in recent times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK1Ol7pAuC8
