The brother and sister duo of Brendan Reeves and Rhianon Gelsomino have won the Power Stage to kick off the National Capital Rally today.

Brendan Reeves and Rhinanon Gelsomino celebrate their Power Stage victory at the National Capital Rally.After finishing third in the qualifying run, Reeves improved his time by over four seconds to beat home reigning champion, Eli Evans, by just a tenth of a second.

The Mazda2 driver’s time of 1m38.3s was 0.7 seconds faster than Scott Pedder’s Renault Clio, while the works Citroen DS3 R3Ts of Tony Sullens and Adrian Coppin were fourth and fifth, seven seconds off the pace.

Wildcard entry, Waylon Sims in a Peugeot 207, was sixth.
