Raymond masters Mitta Mountain Rally
- 7th May 2017, 6:54am
Glen Raymond and Kate Catford proved too good for a 36 car field in round two of the Victorian Rally Championship, the Mitta Mountain Rally.
Driving a Subaru Impreza WRX, the pair were the class of the field, having started the five-stage, 135km competitive event as car one on the road.
Ben Hayes took an impressive second place in the ex-Windus Subaru WRX, while third went to yet another Subaru, that of Lindsay Wright.
Some of the other front runners didn’t have such a great run.
Warren Lee put his Mitsubishi off the road and out of the event, while Stephen Raymond comprehensively damaged his Subaru after a huge accident.
